The Renny has come to rebirth the music industry by performing as musical architects that will create the needed transition from the current medieval music practices to the modern fresh tactics and sounds of the future.
Renny Entertainment, Inc. is a family run business birthed out of Far Rockaway, NY. The company started as a vision of one of its CEO’s and artist Alvin Lattimore, also known as Foul Al, 1996. When he wasn’t able to gain the right support to grow the vision he held onto the dream until 2003, when he and co CEO, label mate and wife, Verleiz Lattimore, also known as, Ricochet Lakewood, decided it was time to start pressing out the dream. Renny Entertainment, Inc. was formally born in 2005, however being a family company the label was not exempt from the family trials. Renny Entertainment, Inc. slowed down its progress as the team cared for and supported, Mrs. Catherine Robinson was one of the company’s greatest supporters and did all she knew to make the company successful. Unfortunately, in March 2007 Mrs. Robinson released her battle with cancer, leaving both the company and its CEOs lost. However, it was her spirit of determination that birthed a second wind into the company in 2009.
The Lattimores understood the sacrifices and challenges that leads them to a great crossroad and decided that too much had been given to them to halfheartedly continue the business. So despite the release of Foul Al’s first album, the company closed its doors and disappeared from the public. The company found divine intervention, that lead them to grow as artists and business leaders setting out to truly demonstrate the divine nature of their talents and the meaning of the Renny. In 2010 the company has an awesome act of vigor. Lead by a humbled, disciplined, determined, passion driven couple, which is taking the world by storm first and asking questions later.
